"An easily read, accessible adventure story. The author got funding from all sorts of places to go around the world installing solar power for remote villages — Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Nepal, etc. — and he asks the obvious question: if 50,000 people in developing countries can do it, why can't we? It's cheery, well told, and fun. NOT a techie manual at all."

This book was a slight departure from the publishers' other titles. A cross-over between an adventure narrative and a practical guide, the cover design would need to be evocative of both.

A photo of the author with a backpack and compass was available, but image quality was an issue. I was asked to include a shot of a solar panel in the design, if possible.
